40 years of faulty wiring 
I work at a rape crisis center and would like to use one of your photos about bullying for an anti teen violence poster. Are all of your photos copyrighted?

Hullo. I work for a BBC Children’s television programme that deals with odd/revolting facts. I read your facts on hair. I was wondering if you had a source for the doctor who had bolts put on his skull so he could snap a wig to them. It’s a great fact and it’d be great for our show – but I just need to stand it up. Any help you could give me would be very much appreciated!
Thanks for responding. This information came from a true crime novel written by Ann Rule entitled “Last Dance, Last Chance and other true cases”. The man with the bolts in his head was Dr. Anthony Pignataro. He came up with a surgical technique that he tested on himself– sort of a toupee that was literally bolted to his head. He was never fully trained in plastic surgery since he was “not able to finish the training“, whatever that meant (probably not especially bright). The book was published by Simon and Shuster in January 2003.
